Funeral Dinners Assistance

This ministry is open to all men and women in the parish.  There are opportunities to assist the Altar Society in food preparation, helping to serve the dinner and helping with set-up and clean-up. Those who cannot attend can bring food for the dinner.

Building/Grounds/Maintenance

Throughout the year the need may arise for the pastor to call on volunteers to advise and/or assist on given projects inside the church or rectory, or outside on the church property.  Included in this ministry would be the need of carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers, and helpers.

Help is also needed for snow removal from church, school, parking lots, and sidewalks before any Mass or parish function.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is organized and overseen by the Altar Society.  Volunteers generously give their time before and after each Mass to assist with the gift shop.

Parish Office Help

Volunteer office help is an as needed basis.  Activities may include large mailings, stuffing envelopes and bulletins, occasional typing and computer work and the bi-monthly newsletter.  Usually help is needed during the day rather than evenings or weekends.

Service Projects

You and your family can live the corporal works of mercy by helping with Service Projects that meet the needs of parishioners, our parish and the broader community.  These one time projects take one to four hours of your time. Ministry members and parishioners identify projects that need help.  All who sign up for this ministry are sent the information and can volunteer their time and talents. You can decide to participate in one or more projects during the year.  A great family building activity.
